Stealth Miticide And Insecticide is for the control of certain mites and insect pests on crops including Apples, Avocados, Berries, Cotton, Citrus, Custard Apple, Hops, Lychees, Mushrooms, Apaya/pawpaw, Passionfruit, Pears, Tomatoes, Cut Flowers, Ornamentals and Nursery Stock, Strawberries, Certain Vegetables, Duboisia, Oil Tea Tree; and Native Budworm on Cotton.
Cropro Stealth Miticide and Insecticide moves quickly into leaves following application where it remains for several weeks and where it is taken up by sucking mites. It is important that thorough coverage is achieved so that the maximum amount of product can be deposited on the leaf surface for uptake and subsequent ingestion by sucking mites. Abamectin that is not absorbed by leaves is quickly degraded.

It is recommended that Stealth Miticide and Insecticide be applied no more than the following amount of times per season/crop and that it is not used consecutively except where a two spray schedule is specifically recommended;
- Cotton: no more than twice in one season and preferably only once per season. A second application is only recommended where mite pressure is very high.
- Apples, Capsicums, Citrus, Hops, Pears: One spray per season
- Tomatoes: Two sprays per crop if mites are present, five sprays if mites are not present
- Strawberries: Two sprays per season

Stealth Miticide And Insecticide (Abamectin) showed the best result with two-spotted mites. Mites fully covered the leaves of the sloe and almond trees. I tried many miticide sprays, but they worked for two weeks maximum. After abamectin treatment the leaves became green and clean. Also delivery was very fast. Worked supremely well. First spray cleaned up spider and broad mite problems. Follow up maintenance spray one month later allowed a great crop to come in.

The only true solution for spidermites. I use it on my rare indoor plants and it works flawlessly. My only complaint is it was sent via fastway couriers which took 7 days to deliver to SA.

Hi Mario. Unsure why the Stealth Miticide is not helping with the Spider Mites on your roses as Stealth Abamectin is very toxic to Spider Mites. Abamectin (the active ingredient of Stealth) functions as a nerve toxin that must be ingested by mites. Once applied, the material must move into the leaf tissue, where it can then be picked up by feeding mites. We are also not sure of the other insecticides you have used on your roses, however, these are usually highly toxic to spider mite natural enemies, particularly thrips and predator mites. If the natural enemies are reduced the Spider Mite populations can increase making the task of controlling them more difficult.
